Visit of the so called " Villa of Poppea" - second wife of Nero. It
is a sumptuosus residence in which you are able to admire
interesting frescoes of second pompeian style, thermal rooms and a
swimming pool of enourmous propotions. It is probably the best
building of the roman time for paintings.
These frescoes show an incredible wealth of the family, creativity
of the artists and explosion of colors with peacocks, still lives,
trompe l'oeil a technique of paintings that brakes through the walls
to give an idea of more depht and prespective, with imaginary
structures, doors and panoramas that bring theatrality in the house. |
